IMG_8295 2.MOV Here it is, my creation, the RadioAM 3000 V2. It is inspired by classic vintage radios from the 1950s and 1960s, with the look and feel of that era translated into a 3D printed build. The aim is to capture the familiar retro styling and proportions, while using a modern, printable construction that you can produce at home.

You can make your own by purchasing the files listed here, printing the parts, and assembling them using your own 3D printer. This version is designed as a housing for your own Bluetooth speaker, giving it the aesthetic of an old radio from the time. The internal dimensions are intended to suit most modern compact speakers, such as the Amazon Echo and Apple HomePod mini. Alternatively, it can be assembled as a display piece, or used as a decorative shell with internal storage space, depending on how you would like to use it.

Once the 3D printed elements are produced and assembled, you are free to choose your own approach for the final outcome. The project is flexible, so you can decide whether you want it to function around a speaker, be a purely visual display item, or be used for storage. I would love to see what modifications you make and the direction you take in creating your own version, so please share your results when you are finished.

Things to note:

1. This purchase is for STL files only so you can print your own RadioAM 3000. No physical items are included.

2. Recommended hardware, the bill of materials, and instructions will be included within the file download.

3. Beloved Potato holds the rights to the design and licence. The design should not be copied, shared, or used to profit from.
